Iran’s notorious spy agency agents have reportedly broken two ribs and fingers of the South Azerbaijani cultural activist, Mrs. Hakima Ahmadi during her interrogations.
In a video statement released yesterday, Mrs. Ahmadi’s spouse Gulamrrza Gurbai indicates the following:
“On October 18, when Ettelaat’s officers stormed into the our residence in Marand city, conducted unlawful search, and arrested Mrs. Hakima Ahmadi. They terrorized our children at home. Officers also took 2 laptops, 3 mobile phones, and all Sim-Cards at home. As of yet, we have not been able to communicate with my spouse. No information is provided on where she is being held and of her charges. But according to one source, she was beaten by the agents of Ettelaat, her two ribs and her fingers were broken under torture.”
Mohammadza Gurbani believes that his wife may have been placed in the Army hospital of Marand, S. Azerbaijan. According to Mr. Gurbani, Ettelaat agents are threatening him to pay the hospital fees.
