Masoud Pezeshkian the memeber of parliament for Tabriz Usku and Azarshahr who was giving speech in the 75th anniversary of establishment of Medical University of Tabriz told that Farsi is being forcefully imposed on Azerbaijanis. He said that it is not only 75 years that we have universities in Azerbaijan, in fact our first university was established 750 years ago. According to him the Rab Rashidi University of Azerbaijan was a university which 7 languages were being taught to students; however, it is a shame that today we are forced to only study Farsi in our universities.
Mr. Pezeshkian also indicated that while he was the Minister of Education he initiated a 3 language education project which was dismissed by the authorities.
