The member of parliament of the city of Balasuvar and Parsabad Moghan, South Azerbaijan has told the media that digestive system cancers are main cause of fatalities in Azerbaijan particularly, people of Ardebil region.
Mr. Shakur Purhusain has emphasized that the main cause of increase of cancers in Ardebil is water of Araz River which is contaminated by the waste of Armenia’s industrial and nuclear facilities directed to Araz River.
He asked the Iranian government to intervene to halt the catastrophe.
