The South Azerbaijani political prisoner who is being held in the Tabriz prison for the last 10 months due to his human rights activities is placed in hospital. The 43 year old Habib Sasanian also known as Yakamoz was placed in Sina Hospital of Tabriz since his condition worsened in the prison. No information is released about the activist’s health condition who is diabetic and also suffering from high blood pressure.
Sasanian was arrested on May 15 of 2016 along with Yunis Rəhimi, İsmail Əfkhami, Babak Avand, Həmid Saqafi və Mehdi Cavadzada and charged with establishment of illegal group GAMO- The Liberation Army of South Azerbaijan– to destabilize the country.
