Residents of Ogulbey village of Tikantapa (Tekab) province of Western Azerbaijan protested against plundering of their travertine mine, shouting slogans such as “Awake brother, our country has been plundered!”
The residents went on to block the mine entrance attempting to draw attention to the plundering of the mines in this area.
A few days ago, another group of Tikabtapa residents protested against the looting of gold mines by non-native Persians and the neglect of serious damage to the environment of the settlement.
