Nigar Dabbaghi, a 17-year-old South Azerbaijani teenager from Tabriz, has been arrested since November 13 and is being held in Tabriz’s central prison.

She is charged with “inciting to commit crimes against internal and external security, insulting holies of Islam, propagating against the Islamic Republic, insulting officials and civil servants, and insulting the leaders of the Islamic Republic.”

Nigar Dabbaghi ​​suffers from asthma. Her relatives say she is being held in critical condition in prison and are concerned about her condition.

Reportedly, the Islamic regime managed to obtain forced confessions from Nigar Dabbaghi who is still a mnior under the local and international law.​​
