On 20 May 2015, during the official visit of Iran’s president to Province of Azerbaijan, the Azerbaijani protesters frequently interrupted the president’s speech by chanting “Rohani, Rohani, what happened to your promises?” ” Long live Azerbaijan… Down with enemies” criticizing him for undelivered pledges he had made regarding education in mother language and restoration of Lake Urmu.
