According to Human rights organizations the trial of Southern Azerbaijani national activists Tahir Naqavi, Ayaz Seifkhah and Karam Mardani, who were detained in Tehran’s Evin prison, was held in Tehran’s Revolutionary Tribunal.

At the session held in the 15th section of Tehran’s Revolutionary Tribunal, the activists made a defense submission regarding the charges brought against them and pleaded not guilty.

They are accused of “propaganda against the government” and “assembling and colluding to attack national security.”

The notorious intelligence officers of Ettelaat of occupying regime of Iran arrested the aforementioned activists on February 6 in the city of Karaj and they are being held at the Evin Prison since detention.
