Iran’s security forces raged a wedding ceremony in the town of Shabistar and beat up the performing artist who was singing Turkish songs.
Mr. Abbas Nikravan a prominent South Azerbaijani singer was subject to a harsh beating by Ettelaat’s agents inflicting extensive injuries and taken to the Shabistar hospital for treatment. Mr. Nikravan was treated for severe injuries including a broken skull.
Iran’s spy agency, the Ettelaat took the singer for a questioning soon as he was released from Shabistar Hospital. The Ettelaat also arrested the groom, Mr. Sajjad Sattarian and released him after a lengthy interrogation.
