According to the students, while foreign students (iraqi students suspected to be related to Hashd Shabi terrorist Organization) have been allocated more suitable dormitories, local students have been placed in the so-called “500” dormitory, where up to 20 people are forced to live in a single room.
“These conditions are harsher than a barracks. We have been marginalized in our own country. How can we live in such inhumane conditions?” one of the protesters stated.
Students believe that this situation not only violates human dignity and welfare standards but has also caused serious problems for their health, mental well-being, and daily lives.

At Mohaghegh Ardabili University, the shortage of dormitories and the preferential treatment of foreign students have left local students facing severe housing problems and high living costs, leading to their protests.
