A group of Azerbaijani political activists imprisoned in the Greater Tehran Prison will go on a 48-hour dry hunger strike without food or water starting tomorrow morning. This protest is in response to the catastrophic process of drying up Lake Urmia and the government’s indifference to the environmental crisis in Azerbaijan, which is endangering the lives of millions of people.
