IRAN’S ETTELAAT TAKES MOTHER HOSTAGE FORCING SON TO SURRENDER

The agents of Iran’s intelligence Agency, Ettelaat captured Gulnaz Xurshid, the mother of two South Azerbaijani activists, Sina and Nima Hasani and held her hostage until her son surrendered to the authorities.
On Saturday, 6th June 2015, the agents raided Sina and Nima Hasani’ s residence in the city of Urmia in an attempt to put the two brothers under arrest due to their civil rights activities.

A close relative of the activists recounted that the Ettelaat agents stormed into the brothers’ residence to apprehended them both. They were able to locate Sina at the residence, but not Nima since he was not present at the time of search.

and demanded Nima’s submission to the Ettelaat in exchange to his mother’s release. The mother was released earlier today as Nima surrendered to the Ettelaat.

For undisclosed reasons, Ettelaat has also detained Hafiz Sardarpur of Ardebil, Tohid Moqenni of Azarshahr, Mohammad Mohammadi, Ata Karimi, Milad Mukhtari, Ruholla Mazaheri, Amir Ebrahimlu, Yasin Hajizade, Yaser Akbari and Mustafa Hashemi, Ali Aziz and Qulam Quluzade of Urmia, South Azerbaijan.
