Abulfazl Ranjberi, a South Azerbaijani lawyer and university professor, has been detained in Tabriz prison for 206 days without any legal justification and a ban on communication. This oppression is a part of the Iranian regime’s systematic pressure towards the Turks of South Azerbaijani.
Initially, the espionage charge was denied, while the non-compliance decision was awaited, the file was transferred to another court with the intervention of security authorities. And now, it is planned that he will be tried without evidence and in a pleasurable manner with “assistant to evil on earth”.
