The Azerbaijani activist Mahmud Fazli has told his wife on their last phone conversation that he has started an indefinite hunger strike demanding re-opening of his and other Yeni GAMOH leaders’ case.
He told his wife on the phone that he had an argument with Tabriz Prison’s director as the director refused to submit his application for re-opening of his matter. The prison director insulted Mr. Fazli and ordered his transfer to the Unit of Drug Addicts. Mr. Fazli has declared an indefinite hunger strike in response.
